We all know the old adage, “Use the right tool for the job”.
Myself, I’ve often made-do, with various results. Screwdriver for getting weeds out of between bricks, a penny to undo a screw, a kitchen spoon to put in daffodil bulbs.
But what I’ve found is that tools designed for a particular job will often do that job faster and better. And sometimes a penny won’t budge the damn screw. Besides which, I really like tools. I’m a sucker for hardware stores.
When it comes to power tools there’s really no comparison. If you want to get the job finished faster with less effort, power tools are the way to go.
